What is the procedure for paying fees?

Students are required to pay their University fees through any of the University's designated bank accounts listed below.

When is University fees due?

The full semester fees is due on the first day of the semester.
Important: Students are encouraged to make their fee payments on time to avoid disruption of registration and other academic activities. -
Can I pay my fees in instalments?

Yes. Students who are unable to pay the full semester fees at the time of reporting may opt to pay their fees in instalments.
The instalment payment option allows students to spread their fee payments within the semester according to the University's payment schedule.

First Instalment – 60%
Pay at least 60% of the total semester fees before the registration deadline. -
Final Instalment – 40%
The remaining 40% of the tuition fees should be paid in full by the eighth week of the semester.
Important: A student who has not cleared the full fees by two (2) weeks before the commencement of end-of-semester/term examinations may be advised to take academic leave and sit for the examinations when they are next offered, after clearing the outstanding fees. -

How can I access my fee payment statement?

You can view your fee payment statement through the Student Portal.
- Log in to your Student Portal.
- Navigate to the section containing your financial information.
- View your fee statement to check your payments, charges and outstanding balance.

Can I sit for examinations if I have not cleared my semester fees?

No. Students are required to clear their semester fees before they can sit for end-of-semester examinations.
Important: Students with outstanding fees should ensure that they clear their balances in good time before the examination period. -
How do I pay fees through the bank?

University fees should be paid into any of the University's designated fee collection bank accounts that are integrated with the University's ERP system.
When making the payment, students should use the correct reference depending on whether they are new or continuing students.

Student Category Reference to Use New Students Use the Admission Number indicated on your admission letter. Continuing Students Use your Student Registration Number. Important: Continuing students should ensure that the details used when making the payment match the information on their Student ID.Using the correct payment reference helps ensure that your payment is properly identified and reflected in your student financial account.
